The Help of Allāh ta'ālā is Always Near

By Hadhrat Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat hafizahullāh

Being Positive

I had been undergoing medical diagnoses for some time, ever since an anomaly had been found in some test results, and after much deliberation it was decided that I needed to have an operation. Patients generally fear operations due to the risk to life inherent in them, whereas a situation where death seems imminent or probable should actually be regarded as a positive opportunity. The time and place of each individual's death has been decreed and is unavoidable, and such circumstances as an operation do not bring the appointed time any closer. The thought persisted in my mind that the beloved of Allāh performed only one Hajj during his lifetime, and Allāh had chosen this place for him to enter into ihrām. There could not have been a better place for this act.

Words of Wisdom

My late father used to say: "lf we benefit someone who is in the grave (by means of isāl-al-thawāb) Allāh ta‘ālā will surely create someone who will benefit us when we are in our graves."
